League Two Action at Prenton Park in a 15:00 kick off. The game will see already relegated Tranmere Rovers host automatic promotion chasers Bury! Both clubs are at different ends of the tables, the home team have little to play for, I know this is their last game in the football league before being relegated to the Conference, so this to me will be the only motivation for the players, however, I’m sure that confidence will be low and 90% of the players will have their minds elsewhere!
Tranmere have lost their last 5 games and have not won since the 17thMarch when they was victorious over Cambridge (2-1). Their home form isn’t great and they haven’t won a home game in 7 games! Their last home fixture was a 3-0 defeat against Oxford! Tranmere are also managerless and will have Alan Rogers and Shaun Garnett in charge for the final game. They only have Holness out injured (long term).
Bury on the other hand head into the game in great form, they still have a chance of automatic promotion and this will be drilled into the players! They need to get the win to give them a chance and hope that 3rd placed Southend lose or draw! Their last 10 games has seen 8 victories and 2 defeats!
What makes this bet stand out for me is the fact that Bury have a great record away from home, they have won their last 7 away games, scoring 11 goals and conceding just 1!! This is a great record and highlights their strength away from home! Also, the player of the season for League Two (Danny Mayor) should return for the game, along with Etuhu and Riley. Mcnulty is the only concern for Flitcroft.
In this game I’ll be backing Bury – 0.75 AH @ 1.75 with BetVictor, the reason for this is in case of a 1 goal victory for Bury. Good Luck all.
