Three Bet Limit – College Football- 9/19/15

We are back for another week and to give you some betting advice for college pigskin this weekend. Good luck!

Auburn vs. LSU

The Line: LSU Tigers -6.5 — Over/Under: 49

The Auburn Tigers and LSU Tigers square off early Saturday afternoon at Tiger Stadium.

The Auburn Tigers look for a big win and to improve to 3-0 on the season. Jeremy Johnson is completing 60.4 percent of his passes for 373 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions. Johnson is tied with Johnny McCrary for the most picks thrown in the SEC. Ricardo Louis and Roc Thomas have combined for more than 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns while D’haquille Williams has five receptions. The Auburn Tigers ground game is averaging 177.5 yards per contest, and Peyton Barber leads the way with 240 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Auburn is allowing 22 points and 421.5 yards per game. Johnathan Ford leads the Tigers with 24 tackles, Cassanova McKinzy has four tackles for loss and Tray Matthews has an interception. Avery Young, Justin Garrett and Joshua Holsey are questionable.

Auburn has not been impressive even though they start the season undefeated. With a break here or there for their opponents and the Tigers could have been defeated. LSU is a good defensive team as they will face all year. Jeremy Johnson, Auburn’s quarterback has completed just under 61% of his passes. The line has been set at nearly a touchdown and Auburn is still a good team. They will cover but probably not win.

TBL Choice: Auburn +6.5 (at MyBookie)

Texas Tech Red Raiders (2-0) at Arkansas Razorbacks (1-1)

The Line: Arkansas Razorbacks -10.5

The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas Tech Red Raiders face off on Saturday in Fayetteville in college football action.

If Arkansas and head coach Brett Bielema don’t begin playing inspired football things could get ugly in Hogs-land.  Defensively Texas Tech is allowing 32.5 points and 525.5 yards per game including an average of 272 yards on the ground and they have three sacks, four fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. Their wins were over non-conference teams and haven’t faced a team like Arkansas.

The spread is set at Arkansas -10.5 and that is a bit large. But I still will go with the Razorbacks to cover in this one.

TBL Choice: Arkansas -10.5 (at MyBookie)

Stanford Cardinal (1-1) at Southern Cal Trojans (2-0)

The Line: Southern Cal Trojans -10 — Over/Under: 51.5

The last two meetings between USC and Stanford have come down to a field goal. Also, Stanford is as well of a coached team as you’re going to find in college football. I’m able to put Stanford’s loss to Northwestern behind me here. Yes, I know USC is loaded on both sides of the ball and has a QB who is on fire, but this is a rivalry game and Stanford has the defense and the big boys who can at least keep this close.
