Fc Inter is traveling all the way to the santa’s neighborhoods, Rovaniemi, where they are facing Rops once again. These two met already once in the Cup game where Inter trashed Rops 7-3 in the game what is not usually expected. There might be some effective that Rops’s goalkeeper was injured at the league start against HJK and replacement Iiskola played the first game with the 3man defense line of Rops. Also Rops’s midfield didn’t work at all in that game, so it’s sure that today we won’t see that many goals in Rovaniemi.
Rops is coming from 1-0 defeat against SJK. Rops was able to give lots of problems to SJK by giving a hard pressure to whole field starting from SJK’s defenders, they defensed well and still were able to create some chances too. SJK’s goalkeeper Aksalu made few really top class saves for the home team, so Rops had to travel back to home without any points. Today there will be some changes in Rops’s tactics. For this game coach Juha Malinen is not going to play his team with 3-5-2, instead of that they are going to match with same tactics as Inter is. Rops is going to strength their defense and the formation will be 4-2-3-1, and the 3 CB’s system is going to change for four men’s defense line. Rops played with this system also against SJK and that worked out quite well even that they couldn’t take any points from the game. Rops is going to miss few players from this game while Ngambe Ngambe, Tomer Chencinski and Juuso Majava are injured. Mosa, who had that twitter accident is most likely still benched. In SJK game he played last three minutes. So today’s Rops might look like something like this: Iiskola; Saxman, Jammeh, Obilor, Saksela; Hradecky, Okkonen; Pirinen, Mäkitalo, Posinkovic; Kokko.
Inter has started the season really well, in last three games they won two and played 1-1 draw against SJK in the opener. This time they have to move the good vibes for away game also. In last game Inter won Ilves 3-1 and the sensation of the year so far, Vahid Hambo scored twice, once again. Hambo has been in great shape so far, he bagged five goals already in the LeagueCup. This 20years old and 193cm tall striker is already called the “poor man’s Zlatan of Finland”. And must say that there is something same in the style of this youngster, have to hope that he is able to keep developing and will have a professional career abroad too. Inter is surely going to miss Eric Matoukou from this game, also Guy Gnabouyuo is doubtful, but according coach Dragtsma Guy should be fit for this game. Inter is also most likely using formation 4-2-3-1 and the starters is going to be something like: Lehtovaara; Aho, Hämäläinen, Belica, Kanakoudis; Kauppi, Onovo; Ojala, Kairinen, Lehtonen; Hambo.
For this game the result is really hard to predict. Rovaniemi is a hard place to visit, and Rops might take the first points of the season today, even though Inter so far has been really good. Today Rops is going to be more defensive than in their last meeting against Inter but they already played against SJK with that tactic and were able to create some scoring chances, so I belief that today at home Rops will score at least once, when Aleksndr Kokko is leading the attack. Still with Inter’s firepower I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t score today also, even Rops is going to defense with passion. There is Hambo in fire, Ojala who is one of the most creative players out there and Onovo who bagged 4goals in to Rops’s net in the cup game. With these informations, I will go with the both teams to score, cause there is no sense to back home or away win while the odds for draw is also quite big. And with double result or dnb the odds will fall down quite much, that’s why BTTS with odds 1.95 is playable in my books.
