New York Red Bulls vs San Jose Earthquakes Wagering Tips and Match Preview – 18/04/2015
|New York Red Bulls – easy home win!|
New York Red Bulls have the distinction of being the only remaining MLS side yet to lose this season. New York have had a strong season as their record of 2W-2D-0L indicates. The club is building a tough mentality as their 2-2 draw against DC United indicates. DC United were ahead by 2-0 and New York battled back and scored two late goals including the equalizer in 90th minute to get the draw.
San Jose meanwhile have been rather inconsistent. San Jose pulled out a great victory at Seattle but then were uncreative in a 1-0 home loss to RSL. San Jose were impressive in their 1-0 victory over a Vancouver side that came into Avaya Stadium with a five-match unbeaten run. San Jose though must deal with a short week and a six-hour flight across the country. Such travel conditions are not ideal for San Jose.
New York have a great advantage of hosting San Jose and should be well-rested and strong enough to gain maximum points.
French defender Damien Perrinelle scored his first goal for New York Red Bulls in the 2-2 draw against DC United.
Doubtful: Miller (knee), Zubar (hamstring)
Midfielder Sann Nyassi scored his first goal for San Jose in the 1-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps.
Doubtful: Stewart (calf), Francis (head)
Injured/Unavailable: Lenhart (knee), Sherrod (knee)
RECOMMENDATION: HOME WIN
