IT’S a tough weekend for punters and one where a lot of second guessing will be done. Team news will be vital especially for teams who have already sealed play-off spots – as most of them will rest players.
I got it wrong with Leicester on Wednesday because I expected Nigel Pearson to play a weakened team ahead of the Saturday lunchtime meeting with Newcastle. Luckily my Chelsea -1 tip still came in and I’m sure with hindsight Pearson would have left some of his main men on the sidelines.
Leicester couldn’t make it five wins in a row but looked for spells and if they play like they did in the first half can beat a Newcastle side that’s suffered seven defeats on the bounce.
The Foxes are on the shortlist and these teams are picked from my first look at the weekend coupon taking into account form, stats, league position but not team news. All picks are around evens or above
Fans of any side who believes their favourites will be weakened (or hungover) can comment here and help us defeat a tricky card.
