Here is McBookie’s Damian Walker’s first-scorer tips for this weekend. He writes: It’s a huge weekend in the SPFL with four play-off matches in three leagues and three of them coming to a conclusion.

Rangers should make their way to a clash with Hibs having taken a 2-1 lead from the opening away leg with Queen of the South but the Gers look about the right price at 9-20.

In the other Championship play-off between Alloa and Forfar I must admit I didn’t expect the Wasps to get rolled over 3-1 in their first leg.

However, although Alloa find themselves in a do-or-die battle to stay up I feel the level of competition they have faced all season and their excellent Challenge Cup efforts mean they have it within them to win the tie.

Liam Buchanan mustered just one shot in that opening leg and Michael Chopra seemed to be the Wasps player who had the most chances in the game.

Chopra is now on his 10th club at Alloa and scored a crucial goal in their 3-0 win over Dumbarton that kept them off bottom. McBookie make him 6-1 to score the opening goal and put the tie on a knife-edge.

In the League One play-off final Stenhousemuir are rightly big favourites to maintain their status in League One following their 1-0 away win over Queen’s Park.

Without Colin McMenamin’s goals this season Stenny would be down already and the striker is 4-1 with McBookie to give his side a 2-0 aggregate lead with the game’s first goal.

I must admit I thought Montrose and Brora might be a little closer in the betting but there are plenty of people out there who seem to think Brora would be happier staying at the top of the Highland league than playing in League Two.

There wll also be plenty of League Two sides hoping they stay in the Highland League too – the AA suggests leaving six hours 16 minutes for a trip from Galabank to Dudgeon Park. Wonder who Annan will be cheering on?

Anyway, assuming everything is equal I think Brora are a bit of value at 12-5 having already won the home leg by a single goal (we had been 5-2).

Brora’s Zander Sutherland has the sort of games-to-goals ratio Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have in La Liga and the former ICT player is 6-1 with McBookie to take Brora a step closer to League Two with the opening goal.

Can you find a winner this weekend?

Recommended Bets

Chopra (Alloa) 6-1

McMenamin (Stenny) 4-1
