IT was a mixed day unless you were one of those who backed goals in Italy – if you were it was magnifico!

My 31-10 Top Treble landed early thanks to Sergio Aguero scoring and easy wins for Wolfsburg and St Etienne but Sevilla beat the Super Single by drawing at Celta Vigo.

We now know of course Sevilla were planning to make big changes ahead of their Europa League semi-final second leg in Fiorentina on Thursday and while their coach never let on it was obvious from early morning this was likely.

Luckily we had raaljaca pointing out the Sevilla odds were drifting and by kick-off time there was an opportunity for anyone to cover on Celta Vigo double chance to break even.

And when Sevilla took the lead raaljaca and myself pointed out anyone waiting on Sevilla could cover for a small profit and let’s hope some heeded the advice.

And what about goals galore in Italy – over the weekend both teams scored in every Serie A game and all but Juventus-Cagliari went over 2.5 goals. Mama mia! It’s changed days from when 1-0s were the norm and it’s worth watching over the last three weekends of this season.

On Monday there in one Premier League with Arsenal entertaining Swansea. The Gunners have again come up short in the title race but should be happy enough to clinch Champions League football.

They are favourites to finish second behind Chelsea and a win against Swansea tonight should make sure they don’t come fourth behind Man Utd and face a qualification round.

Arsene Wenger’s side were impressive in seeing off Hull 3-1 last Monday and I expect them to take care of Swansea tonight even though their only fit striker is Olivier Giroud.

Only problem is the Gunners look short-priced at 1-3 with BetVictor and William Hill against a side they’ve only beaten three times in seven Premier League meetings.

Finding value isn’t easy but both teams could score at a best 21-20 with BetVictor

Top bet could be 24-goal hitman Chilean star Alexis Sanchez to net at any time at 6-5 with Betfred while Giroud is 1-1 at Ladbrokes. He ran Hull ragged and has bagged five in five games – to score first he is 4-1 at Bet365 and Ladbrokes.

Swindon should reach the League One play-off final after winning 2-1 at Sheffield Utd last week. The Robins could be unchanged for the second leg while United are without young Scot Stefan Scougall.

Back Swindon at 5-4 with Bet365 to extend their lead against a side who could be running out of steam after a long season.

On the continent Genoa face Torino in Serie A – anyone backing both to score without looking at the stats – and Rayo tackle Getafe in a mid-table La Liga battle. In Holland it’s Feyenoord v Vitesse and there are Irish and Scandinavian games too.

I’ll have a look at some in the morning before deciding whether to put some tips.
