In 1th Divsion Haka is facing in their first home game of the season PK-35 who are without losses at the top of the table.
Haka’s season started with two away games, where they lost to PS-Kemi 3-2 and played a draw against JJK 2-2. In Kemi game Haka was leading after 30minutes, but in the end of the first half Kemi was able to give pressure for Haka and forced them for few easy mistakes where Home team Kemi punished right away, and after that Haka couldn’t make comeback anymore after losing the advantage. Whole team is waiting for the todays game, after strange artificial turf in away games, they will now play at the field that they know and team is trusting that this gives them advantage enough. The squad situation is really good for home team Jarno Mattila is now fit and only Aki Sihvonen, Eetu Kaipio and Ville Kauppinen are out.
PK-35 under the command of Shefki Kuqi has been really strong, like they should be. In last game they won Vifk at home 2-0 and in the first round they crushed another favorite Ac Oulu 1-3, so with these two wins they are leading the division with the goal difference. PK-35 has a really strong team and their foreign players are really good, some of them should be playing in Veikkausliiga, but they are committed to build the future for PK-35. Especially attacking side players Yerai Vilaboa, Pablo Counago and Ymer Xhafer are kind of players that can bring wins with their individual skills alone if there is a need. Also there is still some Kuqi family at the field too, while there is Albert Kuqi who is Shefki’s brother and their cousin Daut Kuqi, both of these are also forwards.
In last season of 1th Division these too met three times, PK won once 1-0 and Haka won last two games 2-1 and 6-0. Still the games last year was quite different, because there has been lineup changes in both teams. And most of all after Shefki Kuqi took the manager job at PK, they have been playing a lot better than in last few years, so far it seems that Kuqi has been able to inspire the whole team in new level and when the foreign stars of PK are playing as good as they have been, PK is going to be hard to stop. Still there is some danger in the games what we haven’t seen this season yet. Kuqi is a really temperament coach and last season in Honka, he was sent off several times in the middle of the game.
Time will show how this team will manage in the situations like that, with Honka it didn’t go that well. But today, I’m expecting to see some goals. Away sides attacking players are real class and in home team there is Kalle Multanen and Mikko Innanen upfront and we are used to see them scoring a lot. Multanen scored last season 38 times in 50 games for Ilves. Then there is a rising star, Anton Popovitch who’s father Valeri is a formal Haka Legend. Also away sides games has gone over2,5 six times in last seven games, home team u/o stats are five overs in last six games. Haka will be coming hard tonight in their home field and it’s sure that PK is not going to give up either. Btts and Over 2,5 should both be good options, I’m picking the over in that case if either team gets an early advantage.
