With Aintree going on and little in terms of football, there hasn’t been much from me recently. However, with a full list of fixtures this weekend across most leagues at home and abroad, I’ve tried to get as much variety as possible and as per, plenty of value in each!
Tottenham v Aston Villa
Tottenham looked considerably below par away to Burnley last weekend and will look to get back on track at White Hart Lane against a much improved Villa side. Harry Kane FGS @ 3/1 will look to get back on the scoresheet after very few touches against Burnley, let alone shots! Villa’s target man, Christian Benteke A/T @ 23/10 also looks tempting after a hat-trick against QPR. Tottenham don’t look the best at the back recently but nor do Villa so this could easily have 3+ goals in it!
Burnley v Arsenal
If this were at the Emirates, I’d fancy Arsenal to grab three or more but Burnley have a gritty determination about them in front of their own fans and I think that they’ll make Arsenal work a little harder! Having said that, there’s no way of ignoring Arsenal’s 4-1 convincing win over Liverpool and Alexis Sanchez A/T @ Evens is tempting after getting his name back on the scoresheet and a little riskier but in fantastic form, Olivier Giroud 2+ @ 4/1.
Hamburger SV v Wolfsburg
Hamburger have lost four of their last five games with Wolfsburg the opposite, winning four of their last five! These teams are at opposite ends of the table looking at very different seasons but I am excited to see a young and promising Wolfsburg team in Europe’s elite competition next year! It’ll be interesting to see how Bas Dost gets on against the continent’s best! Speaking of Bas Dost though, he’s really gone off the boil as of late with very few goals but Kevin De Bruyne A/T @ 13/10 has been knocking them in constantly and looks the better of the two, despite their formational positioning. Ricardo Rodriguez A/T @ 9/4 is an outsider chance in the defence with a couple of goals from the penalty spot and the odd goal from open play.
Real Madrid v Eibar
Away to Rayo Vallecano was always going to prove a tougher test but back at the Bernabéu, I fancy Madrid to put a few away! Perhaps not the 9 against Granada but Eibar are of a similar quality! Cristiano Ronaldo 2+ @ 11/8 looks the best of low value odds but back from injury with a goal, James Rodriguez must also be considered but hasn’t been priced at the time of writing this!
Parma v Juventus
Despite a good 1-0 win against Udinese for Parma, Juve should prove too much! I’m going with one of my favourites in Carlos Tevez FGS @ 11/4 or 2+ @ 15/4.
I’m gonna stick with those for now and for the first time, back a couple of my own tips too but these are arguably, some of the biggest games tomorrow and should be interesting for various reasons!
Best of luck,
