BIG game in the Premier League today is Arsenal v Chelsea and I’ve already predicted a draw.
Arsene Wenger hasn’t beaten a Jose Mourinho team in 12 attempts and with the Blues happy with a point he could find it tough again.
Chelsea are 10 points clear in the title race and won’t be caught but injuries to Diego Costa and Loic Remy leaves Mourinho short up top so the tactic may be to keep the Gunners quiet and play out a bore draw – and we know Mourinho teams are well capable of doing so.
Man United tempt at 6-5 with BetVictor at Everton but the Toffees are boosted by the return of Romelu Lukaku who is 5-2 at 888sport to score. United have lost on their last two trips to Goodison without scoring but I like the look of both to score at 13-15 with 888sport.
Meanwhile, Leicester are out of the bottom three after making it four wins in a row at Burnley and having been short odds on to go down are now 6-1 at Paddy Power.
Newcastle lost a seventh game in a row at home to Swansea and are heading towards the relegation mix which didn’t seem likely, well, seven games ago. They are now 22-1 at Ladbrokes to be relegated – and much will depend on Saturday’s trip to the Foxes for a lunchtime TV cracker.
Leicester are 11-10 at Betfred to win that one and I wonder if they’ll rest players in midweek against Chelsea.
Draws for QPR and Sunderland didn’t help them too much and they are in the bottom three alongside Burnley.
Hull gave themselves a massive lift with a win at Crystal Palace and Aston Villa aren’t yet safe after losing in the final minute at Man City.
